A crew of citizen scientists will embark in October on a round-the-world voyage to address ocean plastic pollution. The voyage sets sail on October 8th. The team behind the EXXpedition voyage are partnering with researchers at The University of Plymouth to develop experiments to capitalise on this global sailing endeavour, which will take the citizen scientists to four of the five ocean gyres.
