Next month, Esteban González will participate in the 14th European Symposium for the Protection of the Night Sky, that will be held from November 3rd to November 5th in collaboration with Dark Sky Ireland and an international organizing committee.
The participation of Esteban González will be with a talk about Open Science and the different Citizen Science projects and their relationship with light pollution that are already part of ACTION.
The European Symposium for the Protection of the Night Sky was first held in France in 1998 and most recently in Pamplona, Spain, in 2013. The revival of the European Symposium is a clear indication of renewed interest in the context of this global movement. The 2019 European Symposium will be a platform for research, activism and policy discussions on protecting the night sky.
