PRIVACY POLICY

Anonymous data processing
When you visit our website, our web server temporarily saves you IP. This information is used for security reasons (preventing DDoS attacks). Personal details such as your name, address, phone number or e-mail account are not registered
which means that every user operates by design anonymously on our website.

Data protection
If you send an email, you acknowledge that you are sharing with the data controller the data you include in that correspondence; you acknowledge as well that you consent to share the data and that the legal basis of this treatment is your consent, as mentioned in art. 6 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR)

Your email address and any other personal data will be stored on the servers of the data controller, which are compliant to the highest security standard, and will only be used for the individual correspondence with you. Your entered data will only be treated by the data controller and will be treated complying to the EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).

Use of external services

Mailchimp

The newsletter mentioned in the website  – managed by the Eu-citizens-science project – uses MailChimp, an external and third party service that will receive and collect your data; for every legal and privacy issue regarding the newsletter, including subscription, data use and unsubscribe, refer to Mailchimp privacy documents.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. Google Analytics uses cookies, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. For every legal and privacy issue regarding this tracking, please refer to Google Analytics Terms of Service and to the general privacy policy of the Google suite.

In summary, the information generated by the cookies about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. In all publications, the ACTION project endeavours to comply with applicable copyrights. If, in spite of this, you identify material on the Site which you believe infringes any of your own intellectual property rights, you should contact us by writing. Your letter must include the following:
