We are grateful to our pilots, partners, and supporters; the participants in the ACTION toolkit workshop; and everyone who submitted suggestions, for their contributions to this toolkit.
About the authors
The toolkit was edited by Gefion Thuermer, Research Associate at King’s College London. Gefion’s research focuses on online participation, process design, HCI and socio-technical aspects of data: to enable inclusive engagement wherever people use technology to achieve goals together. She previously worked on the Data Pitch project, where she was responsible for producing reports about the key lessons learned from the experience of data sharing, most notably a toolkit for data sharing. She currently works on MediaFutures, and ACTION, where she oversees the development of toolkits for data innovation in media value chains, and citizen science respectively.
